Hi, I'm Lisa! Metabolic Health Expert & Functional Nutritionist.
In my work as a functional nutritionist I’ve heard too many clients say that they received a diagnosis from their doctor but then were told to just wait to see if it progressed. Or they were told to follow a “heart healthy diet” but were left to their own devices to figure out what that meant. Nutrition can help you feel better and improve your health and you don’t have to do it alone!
Through my own health journey, I’ve had to work with my unique genetics and metabolism to figure out an eating style that works for me. I’m passionate about metabolic health so have done extensive training in blood sugar management, diabetes care, and cardiometabolic health. Personally, I’ve used healing practices to learn how to trust my body again, eat with abundance, and incorporate therapeutic nutrition, lifestyle habits, and positive psychology to ditch the endless dieting cycle.
I believe in the same for you and will act as a guide to get you to where you want to be: trusting in your body again and on the way to feeling better.

Absolutely! The Well Fed Year is available virtually. All coaching sessions can be conducted via secure video, and functional lab testing can be ordered and completed anywhere in the U.S. You'll receive the same comprehensive support regardless of location.

Great! Bring your existing test results to our discovery call. I'll review what you have and determine if we need additional testing or if we can move forward with your current labs. This may reduce the overall program cost depending on what testing you've completed.

While I don't bill insurance directly for this program, many clients use HSA or FSA funds to cover program costs. Some PPO plans offer out-of-network reimbursement for nutrition services. I provide detailed receipts and documentation for insurance submission or reimbursement. If your insurance does cover nutrition and you are in WA state, we can set up individual nutrition visits!

I offer 12-month payment plans ($616/month) to make the program accessible. I also offer a limited number of partial scholarships for those experiencing financial hardship. Contact me to discuss options.

Yes! I work collaboratively with your medical team. I never recommend stopping medication without your doctor's approval. In many cases, as we address root causes and your health improves, your doctor may choose to reduce or eliminate certain medications. This is always done under medical supervision.

The Well Fed Year is specifically designed for complex cases. Functional nutrition is particularly effective for chronic conditions because we address root causes rather than just managing symptoms. I have extensive experience working with multiple comorbidities and the more we can wade through the complexities together, the better.

Expect to invest 4-6 hours per week in your health during the first few months (meal planning, food prep, journaling, appointments). As you build habits and systems, this typically reduces to 2-3 hours per week. This is a significant time commitment, but it's a temporary investment for lifelong results.

You'll graduate with complete knowledge and tools to maintain your health independently. Many clients choose to continue with quarterly check-in sessions for ongoing support and optimization. You'll have lifetime access to the member portal and resources.

Functional nutrition has an extremely high success rate when clients are committed to following protocols. However, if after 6 months of full compliance you haven't seen significant improvement, we'll reassess and adjust the approach. Your success is my priority.

You can start anytime! The "12 months" refers to the duration of your personal program, not a calendar year. We can start on whatever day is your personal new year. We begin whenever you're ready to commit.
